Step 8 - Pre-closing Preparation

As the closing date draws near, your OzarksHome.com team will contact the escrow/closing company and your lender to make sure that all the necessary documents are being prepared, and that they are complete, accurate, and delivered in a timely manner to the best of our abilities. We will also need to confirm that the documents will be delivered to the correct locations so they can be reviewed and that they will be ready for the appropriate closing date.

At this point, you will be notificed as to what form of payment you will need to bring to the closing for any unpaid fees. Most closing companies require a cashiers check. Make sure that your payment is made out to the appropriate party, usually the closing/escrow company.

Ensuring that each closing document is ready and available will enable you to have a quick, easy closing. We will attempt to get the documents as early as possible and recomend that you read them prior to closing to reduce your time in the closing office for your convenience.
