Step 4 - Home Search

It will be our pleasure to be of assistance in your home search.
By now you will have a good idea of what you can afford and what type of neighborhood you will want to live in. By taking that information into consideration you are almost ready to embark on your actual home search. If you don't know much about the city or area you will most likely want to start your search by finding neighborhoods that meet your criteria and then narrowing your search to particular homes in the area.

There are a several ways to go about this. The most efficient way to find a suitable home is to allow us to keep you up-to-date on available properties that match most of your criteria. Your Ozarkshome.com team has the capability of E-mailing you properties as they come on the MLS. And after showing you a few homes our team member will have a very good idea of what you like and are looking for. Then they can preview properties in the neighborhoods you have selected and which match your parameters. Allowing us to screen these properties for you will save you lots of time and is part of the service we offer. Our team previews many properties each week. Then we let you know we have located a property that should interest you and we will arrange for you to tour the property when it is convenient for you. If you are from out of the area we can often obtain the owners permission to take digital photos of the interior and exterior of the property and email them to you.

You can also access local publications highlighting available real estate in the area, contact local Neighborhood Associations, visit the local Chamber of Commerce, look on the Internet, and even drive through neighborhoods that you feel would meet your needs. You should realize that with the press deadlines that depending on them for information may not be best. We have found that quite often a buyer has missed the perfect home because by the time it was in print it had already sold. Driving around a particular area looking for a home that is for sale can be very time consuming and very “hit or miss.”
